Takatoku:
One of the fantastic late 70's early 80's Japanese toy companies. They were obviously not as big as Popy, but the quality and build of their toys was great!.
They are also known by most people as the compagny that came up with the timeless VF design. (before Bandai bought them back...). Also they came up with the Orguss line (underrated).
Their ranges of figures were vast, and nowadays, for the average collector, they are not cheap to get hold of. Some of their die-cast robots are amazing pieces. They were also famous for their exquisite box arts. Takatoku boxes are a sight to behold, even the cardboard used is kinda textured...*Heaven*....
Anyway, I have a lot of things to say about them, but for now, that'll do. I'll edit it and present the company a bit better as I move along with this site...
