I was even considering selling it back as the profit would've been crazy. Did not happen, but at least the winner did not get it for nothing. I should follow that 'Holy Grail item rule' ( heard that from some TB/DX forum members) : If you bid on something that really is on top of your 'wanted list', at the last second, bid your maximum that you're willing to pay for the item, and multiply it by 2. That way, chances are you'll win it for sure ( unless the other bidders also do the same LOL).
Needless to say, I was REALLY PISSED OFF!!! I wrote to the seller, who did not have a clue as to the value of the thing ( who incidentally apologized that I had not won the figure...) I told him I had found another one, sent him a link of some shop that had one for sale for around $2200.00..Wonder what he thought when he realized the actual value of the item?!! NO don't worry, I did that way after it had ended. I'm not such an ass..BThese kinda stuff brings the worst out of people. Yes, it's just a toy Bla-bla-bla, collectors worldwide know that feeling too well. But I was sooooo dissapointed, have not felt like this about a lost auction for decades.
Whatever, I will never have another opportunity like this for this item. (;_;).
And that concludes this month's rambling....
